Local Sydney based Filipino band was formed in September 2005 when Tin dela Fuente (lead guitars), Rolando Pereyra jr (bass), Jerald Tuazon (drums) performed their first gig at the Sala Sessions 2005. Then-groupie Maan Sansano (vox) occasionally jammed with the band and became the new front woman for iskatchtape. They haven't turned back since.

Tin's garage would usually be the place where the magic begins. They would practice some covers, alter their arrangements, eat to their hearts content, and of course write their original compositions. Tin and Rolly are the main lyricist of the band.

The band has been featured on local radio station bfm 100.9mhz and pinoy TV. On print, you can read about the band in the Bayanihan newspaper and Star Central magazine in which they won MOST POPULAR BAND 2006.

2006 has been a busy year for the band. At the start of the year, they performed with Wally Gonzalez and Paolo Santos in Crossover Live and again in October for Crossover Live 2 again with Wally Gonzalez along with Pepe Smith (both of Juan dela Cruz band) and Kat Agarrado (sino si kat band). March brought them as a support act for Christian Baustista / Sheryn Regis concert and July as the main front act for Parokya ni Edgar. For two consecutive years (2005/2006), they have performed in the Filipino fiesta held annually. GK (gawad kalinga) have also asked them to help with their charity event. The band has recently been interviewed in pinoy TV's music lounge and featured some of their original songs Iskatchtape also frequent @ the basement restaurant and have performed numerous gigs along with SMT (sixmantrio), eraserheads tribute gig.

Influences include: rock, opm and pinoy rock such as the likes of parokya, eraserheads, led zepplin and more. Yes, they have started writing original compositions.
