Aegis, one of the Philippines’ top bands and very popular in the live music circuit, treated the Filipino community to an unforgettable night of music, laughter, rocking and grooving last Saturday, 8 August at Bankstown Town Hall NSW.
 
Seasoned concert producer Manila Sydney Entertainment with the support of UBI Pinoy brought Aegis to Sydney in a limited engagement one night only performance that was a hit among the fans and other Filipino music lovers who were eager to listen to live music from an A1 Pinoy band.
 
From Pinoy hits and classics to popular Top40 songs, Aegis belted them out with their signature vocal power and energy. Not only this, their spiels were a hoot!
 
A Filipino fan from Blacktown NSW mentioned that when Aegis sang ‘Bayan Ko’ right at the start ... “just for that sulit na kaagad ang binayad ko!”
 
“Sumakit ang tiyan ko sa katatawa”, one lady in the middle aisle said.
 
Another lady shouted out loud “bumalik kayo ha!” then followed by a loud round of applause.
 
Everyone seemed to agree, because from the first song up to the last, it was just pure delight. 
 
With the success of the concert, there is no doubt that Tess McBrearty and Bong David of Manila Sydney Entertainment will bring back Aegis very soon to entertain all their excited Filipino-Australian fans!
